Polar M430 Announced
Exciting news from Finland … Polar have launched an exciting addition to their range of GPS based running watches with the launch of the new Polar M430.
The Polar M430 features wrist-based heart rate, advanced training features, 24/7 activity tracking and smart notifications. The new running watch looks like the perfect combination of features and functions for runners of ALL categories and levels. From initial inspection it looks like a nice cross between the Polar M400 and the Garmin Forerunner 35.
The competition for best GPS running watch of 2017 is hotting up. We hope this M430 proves to be the ideal tool for runners aiming to reach their personal best. The M430 is water-resistant and features vibration alerts to inform runners when they’re hitting goals during training. One key feature is the use of Polar’s own 6 x LED sensor array to accurately acquire heart rate from the wrist … looking good so far
A review of the Polar M430 will be completed very soon (work in progress) …..
Extracted from their Press Release
“In the growing market of running products that can track heart rate, pace and several other performance metrics, Polar M430 stands out for two major reasons,” says Marco Suvilaakso, Chief Strategy Officer at Polar. “First, Polar has put 40 years of research and development into creating highly accurate technology, which is why so many athletes continue to seek our products. What makes Polar even more unique is that we then go beyond just providing accurate data; we turn it into actionable guidance. Our Smart Coaching features can show users how they benefitted a single training or over time, how their performance translates into an expected race finish time, and even provide adaptive running training programs that sync to the watch. Combined, these elements make Polar M430 a distinguished running watch in the category.”
